Wood and Soda Fired Two-Tiered Planter in Frost, Thrice Inferno'd

Wood fired twice in the East Creek anagama and fired a third time in a soda kiln, this planter has been through more infernos than most! It has a gorgeous desaturated palette, varying textures and a stunning iridescence in some areas.

There was no glaze applied to this piece. The surface you see here was created entirely by two anagama firings, and one soda firing! Pretty incredible, right?
